NanoTeK.v2_ALPHA.PREVIEW by thibaut28 NanoTeK.v2_ALPHA.PREVIEW by thibaut28
This is the First Official Preview of the NanoTeK.v2, a rather complete suite I'm trying to build for KDE. The main guideline is to create a dark, original, usable and unified theme. This suite will include :

- a KDM Theme ( available in different resolutions )

- a Moodin Theme ( available in different resolutions )

- a Dekorator Theme

- a KBFX Theme

- a Superkaramba Theme ( modifications of the "Furius Karamba Suite" and "RSSNews", available here :

- a Domino Configuration

- a Color Scheme

- a Wallpaper ( available in different resolutions )

- Some Desktop Icons

- Some Systray Icons

Stay Tuned ! ;)

Great theme, I absolutely love the blue on gloss black color scheme. Your dekorator button should probably be a little bit lite, so that they stand out from the rest of the theme. Also, I have a few new wallpapers I am working on, if you want me to make you one for this theme I would be happy to, just tell me the color scheme and style you want. (at the moment I am working on some Travel like stuff, if aren't familiar with Travel look at peterciu's deviant art page)

Many thanks for your support ! ;) The main problem of this theme is its darkness. The more I look a it, the more I feel everything is way too sharp inside, like buttons made of simple lines. You know I'm not really working on it much at the moment. I'm sending you some screens of my next theme. By the way I really appreciate your offer for the wallpaper, I'll think about style and colors ;)

I like it and have used many of the various Linux flavors ..especially the KDE's ...this would be nice as a future Kubuntu

Well I'm really glad you do ;) Adding to the desktop part there's also the KDM theme and the moodin splash which should add more consistency to the theme, I'm trying to do something really complete :)

good luck its hard to write that kernel...and get it to synch with all the lilo etc and fstabs ...I was in electrical engineering at MIT ( summers only as an interim teaching assistant ) ..in the famous Edgerton Strobe Lab where the strobe was invented and much work was pioneered with Jacques Cousteau etc and I was just a teensy undergrad ..summer TA but where we took our coffee and lunch breaks was adjacent to the advanced scientific labs where RMS aka Dr Stallman worked..and what a genius and pioneer and noble cause he has become for the GNU etc

Well thanx, but this is more about graphism than coding ;) I don't bring any new stuff to the kernel just trying to change the appearance of KDE :)
