ASHES Suite by thibaut28 ASHES Suite by thibaut28
ASHES SUITE :

Yeah, I know it's been one month since the first screenshot, but I wasn't satisfied with the result and performances.

I wrote all the installation instructions in the preview ;) If you still have some questions, feel free to ask :)

Note on the QSS : This is really alpha quality. Some application may work, some simply won't. Some others do not even support QSS. For this reason, I tried to make the best use of all the QTCurve options, and custom gradients, in order to cover most of the widgets without the need of using QSS.

Shopping List :
---------------------------------------------------------
:bulletgreen: QTCurve
:bulletgreen: Bespin
:bulletgreen: Smaragd

Changelog :
-------------------- 29/03/11 ------------------------
:bulletblack: Modified QTreeView to change the alternate row color which was way to bright.
:bulletblack: Added a Metacity port of the emerald windeco Preview
-------------------- 27/03/11 ------------------------
:bulletblack: Alpha release
---------------------------------------------------------

Feedback :

Feedback would be greatly appreciated :
:bulletblue: Bug reports (application not working, bad widget rendering)
:bulletblue: Improvements, suggestions
:bulletblue: critics ;)

Oops, sorry for the late answer. I think you have to apply it this way, for example on dolphin:

dolphin --style-sheet Ashes/QSS/Ashes.qss

which is not very handy as you have to create custom KDE launcher for each applications.

The color scheme looks good in with my current bespin config. And the Emerald theme is very nice! :)

You may have to tweak the colorscheme, as I didn't really bother about the color of the widgets covered by the QSS. The QSS completely override the colorscheme ;) Feel free to mod everything :D !

So far I have not yet tested the QSS, only the color scheme. But I will do that. :)

Those title bars are fantastic looking. The blue on black is pretty groovy, almost makes me wish I used KDE.

Thank you !
If you're using compiz, you can also use this window decoration as this is an emerald theme ;)

Alas, I use plain metacity, with no widgets at all. I have this bad habit of complimenting your stuff and not actually using it >.<

It just looks so nice.

It's in the package, if you grab the last version.
